Marlene M. Martell

Martell, Marlene M. (Nee Cialdini) Entered into God’s arms on Saturday, September 29, 2018, at the age of 79, surrounded by family and friends. Survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, John Jr., Loving mother of Debbie (Neil) Staszak, John (Jeanne), Tony and the late Gina. Extremely proud Nana of Catherine, Giovanni, Jacquie (Nicholas) Hunt, Stephanie (Mike) Jones, Andrew, Colton and Ayla. Great-grandma to Leland and Brinley. Further survived by brother Bud (Barbara) Cialdini and sister Ida (Tom) Spack. Special sister-in-law to Pennie Cialdini and Phyllis Cialdini. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Lifelong friend of Geri Lucchesi Mitchell. Devoted friend to numerous others. Preceded in death by her parents Rinaldo and Norma Cialdini, daughter Gina and brother Dick Cialdini.
Marlene lived for her family and friends. She adored her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren beyond words. Marlene’s memory will be forever etched in family gatherings that included her homemade food and desserts and of course followed by card games.
Special thanks to the staff at Fresenius Dialysis, Maple Ridge Health Services and Hometown Hospice and all others who helped in her care over the past several years.
Visitation Thursday, October, 4 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (8500 W Cold Spring Rd, Greenfield) from 9 AM – 11 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Private Entombment at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Marlene was a member of St. John’s Christian Women. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s Christian Woman would be appreciated.
