Born to eternal life on Sunday, July 5, 2015 age 77 years. Beloved wife of John “Al” Sliga for 53 years. Loving mother of John (Nicki) and Mike (Carol). Proud grandmother of Ashley, Makayla, Elizabeth and John. Dear sister of Irene (John) Bayer and Margaret “Peggy” (Fred) Kleczka. Further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, July 15 from 4-6 PM at OUR LADY OF LOURDES CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3722 South 58th Street. Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Marlene was a loving and devoted wife to Al. A wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend as well as an outstanding baker. Giving of herself and her time, Marlene was a gift to all who knew her and will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name to the Froedtert Hospital Foundation – Cancer Center would be appreciated.
