Wednesday November 6, 2002 age 88 years. Beloved husband of the late Bernice A. Diefenthaler. Father of Rev. Dr. Jon T.Vivi Diefenthaler and the late Mark A. Ann Diefenthaler. Grandfather of Katie Wiltse, Heidi Bernardi, Anna Hay, Andrew, Lisa and Aaron Diefenthaler. Great- grandfather of Sammy and Sydney. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Funeral service Friday November 8, 2002 at 7:00 PM at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7821 West Lincoln Avenue. Entombment Wisconsin Memorial Park Saturday at 10:00 AM. In state Friday at the church from 5:00 PM until the time of service 7:00 PM. Mr. Diefenthaler worked for Blatz and Pabst Brewing Companies for 35 years, retiring as controller in the 1980’s. If so desired, memorials to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church appreciated.
