Reunited with her husband James and sons Thomas and Edward on August 11, 2021 at the age of 84. Beloved mother of Michael (Kimberly), Richard (Laryn), Julie (Rand) Martin, Scott (Cathleen), and daughters-in-law Terese and Lisa (John) Brochtrup. Dear sister of Barbara (Vince) Domarad, Edward (Janet) Reitz, and Kathleen (the late James) Schiefelbein. Loving grandmother to many wonderful grandchildren and sweet ”GG” to her great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Mary Ann graduated from Pius Xl High School in 1954, completed her bachelor’s degree in Nursing at Alverno College in 1958, and began her career at VA Hospital as an operating room nurse. She later worked as a Nursing Supervisor at VA Hospital and St. Francis Hospital.
Visitation Thursday, August 19 at the HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, 4800 S. 84th Street in Greenfield from 4-7 PM with prayer service at 6:30 PM. Mass of Christian Burial Friday, August 20 at St. Gregory the Great Parish 3132 S. 63rd St at 10:30 AM (Please meet at church). Internment Rural Home Cemetery Big Bend, WI. My heart is full of sadness for all my cousins. My aunt was one of the most kind, generous and loving human beings I have had in my life and she made a positive impact on me the lives in me today.
