Mary Ellen Kindy (nee Torrey)

FRANKLIN –  Mary Ellen Kindy of Franklin, WI passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Clement Manor Hospice on December 4 at the age of 80.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Harry (Bud) Kindy, and parents, Theodore Torrey and Eleanore Torrey (nee Wieseler).

Mary Ellen loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed fine food, had a wonderful sense of humor, always wore a smile, and throughout her life was extremely giving to others.

Survivors include her loving partner George Clausing, brother George Torrey, ex-husband Richard Gross, children Tori Gilbert (Glen Gilbert), Jonathan Gross, Mitchell Gross, Leslie Peters (Daniel Peters) and Theodore Gross, and grandchildren Max (Marina) Gilbert, Matthew Gilbert, Olivia Peters, Jessica Peters and Daniel Peters Jr.

A celebration of Mary Ellen’s life will be held in the coming year when it is safe to do so.
