(Grobschmidt) of Franklin, 83 years old, born June 18, 1935.
Mary passed peacefully on June 8th, with her family at her side. She will be reunited after 60 years with her husband and true love Robert Braun in heaven.
Also proceeded in death by her son Robert Alan (Laura) Braun, her parents Eugene & Alice Grobschmidt, her brother Bill Grobschmidt, her sister Kathy Lawrence and her in-laws Norbert & Josephine Braun.
She is survived by daughters Marybeth (Donald) Pfeffer and Debra Boese. Also survived by grandchildren Robert (Brianne) Pfeffer, Breanna (John) Peltz, Matthew Kortendick and Zachery Braun and by great-grandchildren, Greyson & Madeleine Pfeffer, Meadow Peltz, her brother Gene Grobschmidt and other relatives and friends.
Mary lived with her daughter, Marybeth and her family for many years. She spent winters with her son Bob and his family in Florida. She very much enjoyed watching the grandchildren grow up, and in recent years her great grandchildren, who called her Great Mommu.
In recent years, Mary developed a love of walking – this started out when she was getting ready for one of her many trips to Disney World, and continued until her last days.
Up until the past few years, Mary both knit and crocheted many beautiful items. Her last project was making caps for a local shelter.
Mary was a very strong person, whose only wish was to spend time with her family.
A memorial visitation will be held at Heritage Funeral Homes – Oak Creek on June 14th from 4-6pm with a memorial service to follow at 6pm.
Mary was such a wonderful person and I am so blessed to have known her. She thought the world of her family and appreciated all they did for her. I’m so glad I got to spend some time with her just a few weeks ago. She talked a lot about her love of walking and of course we had to talk about her famous potato salad. She had what every parent hopes for, a daughter that was always there for her right to the end, never leaving her side. I’m sure that brought her much comfort and peace. She was truly blessed to have shared her life living with her family that cared so deeply for her. She will be missed greatly.
Our warmest condolences to you and your family. Someone so special will never be forgotten.
All our love to you and your family at this time.

I miss my wonderful, funny, and intelligent friend, Mary. My sister, Vicki, and I so enjoyed hearing her stories and the many interesting things she accomplished in her life…not the least of which was raising three great kids. Rest well, my friend.
Sorry to hear about your mom mary beth & Deb. Hope all is fine with you guys
