Eaton

Passed away on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, age 76 years.  Loving wife of the late Patrick Eaton, Jr.  Dear mother of Caroline (Servet) Eaton-Demirelli and Robert (Erin) Eaton.  Proud grandmother of Marianna and Braelyn.  Sister of Eugene (Sue) Nowak. Beloved sister-in-law of Kathy (Paul) Esselman.  Aunt to Michael (Lydia) and Bob Narloch, Angi, Samantha (Aaron) and Thomas (Chelcie) Nowak, and Katie and Sara Esselman. Preceded in death by her parents Eugene and Blanche Nowak and her sister Susan Nowak.  

A visitation will be held Tuesday, January 14th from 4-6PM at the Funeral Home, 9200 S. 27th St.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 15th at 10 AM at St. Matthew Church-Little Brick Church, 9303 S. Chicago Ave.


Mary retired from the Oak Creek-Franklin School District after years of secretarial service.  She enjoyed music and dance, especially 60’s-80’s soul and R&B.   She was an avid gardener, accomplished seamstress and enjoyed crafting, especially making costumes and clothing for her cherished granddaughters.

    Mary was the school secretary when I taught at Meadowview. I never minded going to the office because I knew Mary would be there.

    I’m so sorry to hear Mary has passed. She was a the school secretary at Edgewood when I taught there. Mary was always very kind and helpful. I enjoyed talking with her. May fond memories bring your family some peace during this difficult time.
