I would like to extend our deepest sympathies and profound gratitude to Mary’s family. She taught our 3 three children at St.Paul’s. Those children are now the parents of their own families, they have become strong God fearing adults. Mary certainly helped to mold them by continuing to feed the lambs in her care! We do rejoice that she is now in Jesus loving arms.

Mary Braun was not my 2nd grade teacher, but I was a student at St. Paul’s when she joined the faculty to replace Miss Grace Cox, the previous 2nd grade teacher who had passed away. I think that was for the 1979-1980 school year. But I could be mistaken. Anyway, I got to know her through the years and she was always helpful and cheery. I especially remember her from the LYF Teen group at St. Paul’s where she was an active adult volunter providing guidance for our various activities, especially the National Youth Rally St. Paul’s helped to host in Waukesha in 1984. She was a close friend with my parents, Wayne and Joanne Weber – who often worked with her on various volunteer opportunities at church, such as church picnic and church library. I was always impressed at her ability with sign language and she used that talent often for interpretation during services. Mary Braun was the type of person who was always around and provided Christian kindness no matter what. She was happy to see me moving back to Muskego and rejoining St. Paul’s with my own family in recent years. And the kids thought she was so nice whenever we ran into her at church or at school. Mary Braun will be fondly remembered by so many whose lives she touched. Her eternal peace in heaven is her great reward. 🙂
