Maryann “Ma” Windle-Schwabe, was born into eternal life on May 8, 2024, at the age of 90. She was the loving and devoted wife of Robert Schwabe, of 24 years. She was the loving mother of Oral (Pat) Windle, Suzanne (Mike Landis) Windle, and Russell (Cathy) Windle, the proud grandmother of Martha (Bob) Moat, Melissa (David) Hall, Matthew (Samantha) Windle, Danny (Sarah) Windle, David Windle, Michael (Kirstin) Windle, and Mitchell Windle and great grandmother of Connor, Wyatt and Georgia Moat, Jared and Nick Thomm, Hayden and Holly Hall, Melody, Amelia and Piper Windle, Addison Windle, Declan and Jade Windle and Turner Windle. Maryann is also survived by her brother Frank (Pat) Dembowski.

Maryann was proceeded in death by her first husband, Oral R Windle, second husband Robert Jacob, father Frank Dembowski, mother Irene Dembowski and brother Daniel Dembowski.

Maryann treasured her time with family and friends. She loved when they would pop in, she would stop everything and whip up a snack or a meal with whatever she could find and of course there were always cookies in the fridge. She loved a party whether she was hosting it or crashing it.

In Maryann’s younger years, she loved traveling the country from the jump seat of a semi. Later in life, the love of a good road trip and adventure did not fade. She would crank the music, turn on the radar detector and go. She never let a curb or median get in the way of her destination. Maryann even took a random offer or two to hop on the back of a motorcycle for a quick ride.

Maryann loved to laugh, even if she was the pun to the joke. She enjoyed knitting and you couldn’t keep her away from a craft fair, even if there was a blizzard. Maryann also loved polka; she would grab anyone near her, and they would polka away. She enjoyed being on the boat with a fishing pole in her hand and watching the Packers and Brewers.

Maryann will be missed dearly, but she will carry on in the hearts of her loved ones as they cherish the memories of her.

Thank you to the following that took great care of Maryann:
