MaryEllen Cohn

MaryEllen Cohn of Oak Creek, WI passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at the age of 75. MaryEllen was born on August 7, 1943 to Edward E. Marcus and Georgean Mary (Mueller) Marcus. She is survived by her son, Charles Cohn of Milwaukee and grandson, Taylor. Also survived by her sister Glory Marcus of Tennessee and niece Jamie Schafer of Tennessee. Further survived by great nieces and one great nephew, cousins and friends.

MaryEllen was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Charles L. Cohn, her parents and daughter Gwendolyn Marcus.
MaryEllen worked as a secretary for many years before her children were born when she became a full-time mom. She was an accomplished artist, avid reader and played the flute into her adult years. She was an active church member throughout her life.

A lunch/visitation will be on Sunday, April 7th at 12:00 pm followed by a 1:00 pm memorial service at the Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church at 8675 S. 13th Street, Oak Creek, WI 53154. Officiating the service are Rev. Wendee Nitz and Rev. Christal Bindrich.
