Mavis B. Katzman
of East Troy, found peace Sat. May 12, 2001 at Kiwanis Manor, at age 79 yrs. Born to parents Adam Deist and Hazel Bartholf who owned and operated the Cobble Stone in East Troy Oct 28, 1921 in East Troy, WI. She Married her late husband Don in 1981 and has been a life long resident of East Troy.
Mavis was th Secretery-Treasurer of East Troy ladies Bowling for over 25 years and worked on the East Troy Election Board for 31 yrs. She taught Sunday school and Sang in the choir for the First Congregational United Church of Christ, East Troy for many years.
Mavis is survived by a good friend Floyd Schmidt of East Troy. She is preceded in death by her family and many friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday May 15, from 1-2:30 PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME, EAST TROY with funeral services at 2:30 PM. Interment Oakridge Cemetery to follow. Pastor Vicki Fox Officiating
