Maynard Eugene Aide, Jr “Gene” died Friday, March 16, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital in Milwaukee after suffering a heart attack at the age of 73 years. Gene was born August 15, 1938 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Dodgeville, WI to Maynard Aide Sr. and Nona Roberts Aide. He had resided at Kindred Care Center in Greenfield for the past month and at Prospect Place in Milwaukee for 6 years prior.

Gene is survived by three sisters and seven brothers all living in Wisconsin; Shirlee Robert Eddy of Beloit, Susan Hansen of Madison, Janet Bill Amenda of Mineral Point, Bob Sue of Merrimac, Jerry of Columbus, Bill of Fennimore, Mike Mewis of Mineral Point, Ken of Madison, Gary Kathy of Fennimore and Jeff Vicky of Cambridge. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Gene was predeceased by his parents, Maynard in 1989 and Nona in 1987, two sisters, Patty in 1938 and Mary Lou in 1995, and two brothers Ronnie in 1943 and Dean in 1958.

Gene enjoyed watching The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune on TV and playing solitaire on his computer.

There will be no formal funeral services and his ashes will be interred privately in the Aide Family plot at Eastside Cemetery, Dodgeville, WI.
