Age 85 of New Berlin, WI went to the Lord’s house on Sunday, November 8, 2009.Preceded in death by his loving wife Betty Nee Schlicht, 1992and his parents Henry and Ida. Mel is survived by his daughters Donna Scott Hansen of Las Vegas, NV and Jane Robert Momberg of Kaukauna, WI and a son Marty Jeni Prill of Rubicon, WI. Grandchildren Wayne and Mark Hansen, Robert Momberg, Jr. and Amy Momberg, Kimmie and Kyle Prill. He is further survived by 6 great grandchildren, Donavan and Jessica Hansen, Emma and Nathan Momberg and Mercedes Webb and Angelina Prill. Survived by his sisters Carol Biedenbender and Dorothy Plicta. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

Mel was born in Milwaukee Wisconsin, on the 16th of August 1924. He retired from Kearney and Trecker. Mel loved to restore classic Automobiles and his pride and joy is the 1920 Ford Model T that is still running and in pristine condition. He loved to play music either on his guitar, banjo, harmonica or keyboard. Mel served in the Army/Air Force during WWII. He was a highly decorated WWII Veteran who served his country extremely well. Mel loved life, his family, the Brewers and the Packers.

Visitation, Thursday at the FUNERAL HOME from 5-8PM and again Friday from 9-10AM with a funeral service at 10AM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery.
