Passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, May 7, 2012 age 50 years. Loving husband of Bobbi Lynn nee Dueysen. Loving Dad of Matthew Nicholas and Karleigh Sue. Beloved son of Edward and Mary nee Markert Meyer. Dear brother of Julie Del Swanson and Therese Bob Pekar. Son-in-law of Claudette the late J. Wesley Corbin. Brother-in-law of Kymberly Sue Dueysen. Nephew of Sharon Meyer, Claire Bob Schaefer , Lu Bob Yocum and Carol JackMakovsky. Cousin of Andrew, Mary and Brenda Schaefer; Christopher, Peter and Daniel Yocum; and Jennifer, Sarah and Joseph Makovsky. Uncle of Megan, Hannah, Michalia, Jordan, Emily, Kelly Lyn and Nicholas. His “cousin”, Gareth Nelson, who has fought bedside-by-bedside during their battle with prostate cancer, other relatives and many friends. Mike was a rock and great example to all who knew him.

Family and friends will gather Saturday, May 12 from Noon – 2:45 pm at TRINITY LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7900 Nicholson Road in Caledonia. A celebration of Mike’s Life and Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 pm. Rev. Philip Janke from New Hope Lutheran Church and Rev. Harlan Kushel officiating. Private interment Forest Hill Memorial Park.

Mike was a member of Wisconsin Early Mustangers and shared his love of the “1970 Grabber-Green Mach 1” and the “1967 2 door Ford Fairlane” in lots of family time. He was called a silent warrior for his battle with prostate cancer. If so desired, Memorials to the Prostate Cancer Foundation appreciated.
