Michael Amidzich

“Mike” died peacefully on August 17, 2018, at the age of 76. Loving Father of Vatra and Brian (Cecilia Coca) Amidzich. Also lovingly remembered by other family members and friends. Preceded in death by his parents Marko “Mike” and Helen. Mike liked to refer to himself as an “idea man” because he was always thinking of new business ventures. Many people knew Mike as “Pizza Man,” but he was an entrepreneur at heart, and Pizza Man was just one of his many business ideas that he saw to fruition. While Pizza Man was his biggest success, throughout his life he started many more ventures, and his desire to cook up new ideas never left him. Mike worked with and impacted a lot of people while making many friends along the way, and he’ll be dearly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, send memorials to the charity of your choice.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 21st at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Cathedral, S. 51st and W. Oklahoma Ave. Visitation will be held at the Church at 9:30 AM until time of service at 11AM. Interment at Arlington Park Cemetery
