Michael F. Jolin

Michael Francis Jolin of Milwaukee, WI passed away Monday, December 4th, 2023. He was born on April 3rd, 1975 in Washington, D.C. to Timothy and Katherine Jolin. Growing up, he called many places home- from Plattsburgh, New York to Bitburg, Germany due to his father’s military career. Michael took after his dad and was an accomplished golfer.

Michael received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio in 1998 and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Wisconsin, Madison in 2008. He was a Charter Financial Analyst and spent his career working in the finance industry.

Michael was a loving and devoted father to Helen and Timothy.  He enjoyed every moment spent with his children making memories. He enjoyed making them laugh, taking them to the discovery / art museums, and playing with them at the park.  He shared his passions for life with his children.

During Michael’s spare time, he enjoyed hanging out with friends, playing golf, hockey, and fishing.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Timothy and Katherine. He is survived by his brother Mark and Mark’s wife Tonya, Michael’s fiancé Kristen and his two children from a previous marriage, Timothy (5) and Helen (5). Donations can be made to Timothy and Helen’s 529 account at Ugift529.c0m using code 24T-R0J (R zero J).

In honor of Michael, feel free to join us at Camp Bar Shorewood from 2:45 – 5:00pm for a reception after the service.

I remember the first day you walked in to our sixth grade science class. Little did I know that we would have a meaningful friendship over so many years. I will miss sharing twin pictures back and forth with you as well as your bad jokes and goofy smile. I’ll think of you often with fond memories.

Mike was my#1 golfer from his sophomore year to senior year winning the high school sectionals three straight years (only time ever done). His freshman year his brother Mark was the #1 golfer on the team.? Without a doubt two great kids who Made my job easy. Mike had a smile like a Cheshire Cat and loved life to the fullest. If you see this Mark please get in touch to talk.
