Michael Dietrich

Mike lived life on his own terms. He was a person friends and family wanted to introduce to others, as he was just so cool. As a young man, he chased adventure. He joined the Navy to see the world and later traveled abroad with family and friends. Mike graduated from college in Los Angeles and had an amazing intellect. He read thousands of books as well as newspapers from around the globe on a daily basis. He loved lively discussions full of facts, opinions, and laughter and was the smartest, yet nicest guy in the room. He had relationships that were long and deep; he was introspective, had a big heart, was easy to love and surprised by others affection for him. He will be missed by many, including brother, Jim; ex-wives, Erika and Sandy; stepsons: Mike (Laura), Dan, and David; grandchildren: Erin, John, Kate, Andrew, Danny, Seth, Lauren, Caleb, Levi, Peyton, Olivia, and many more relatives and friends he made in his lifetime. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Frank and Dan.

Family and friends will gather at THE KNICKERBOCKER, 1028 E. JUNEAU AVE., on Sat. July 2nd at 2:00 PM, in memory of Mike. PLEASE NOTE CHANGE IN GATHERING PLACE.
