Michael Joseph Haley passed away on September 17, 2021, in Franklin, Wisconsin. Mike was born in Miles City, Montana, on May 9, 1954, to Bill and Blanche Haley, one of nine children. He was married to Marilyn (Timber) Haley in 1975, and they had five children: Emily, Gabriel, Rosalie, Rebecca, and William. Having grown up in his dad’s grocery business, Mike started and owned a family restaurant in Billings, Montana, before moving to Wisconsin, where he worked for the Rite-Hite Corporation for 32 years. Mike devoted his life to his Christian faith and to his family, and he is the beloved Papa of fifteen grandchildren. Papa’s tractor rides at the house on 6 ½ Mile Road in Caledonia are legendary.
Mike is survived by Marilyn, Emily, Gabe, Rosie, Becky, and Bill. He is also survived by his siblings: Jan, Jean, Pat, Thom, Ted, Joe, Margie, and Mary. A memorial service will be held at Jubilee Christian Family Church 3639 West Ryan Road in Franklin, Wisconsin, on September 25 at 4:00 pm.

Our deepest condolences to all of the Haley family. I met Mike and Marilyn, way back in Huron, visited them in Billings, and knew them in Milwaukee when they first moved there. Our prayers are that God will comfort them with joyous memories that will bring laughter and tears of joy. I just learned today of Mike’s passing. May God grant all of you peace and comfort during this time. Mike is with so many family members now who love him dearly. I am sure that he will watch over all of us from heaven..
