Gutowski, Michael “Mick”
Passed away unexpectedly at the age of 62. Loving husband of Rita (nee Ennis). Father of Nicholas and brother to Mary, Virginia (Ralph), and John (Val). Also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mick was born and raised on the south side of Milwaukee. He attended Hamilton High School and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater.
After teaching special education students for many years, Mick became a Designated Vocational Instructor at Pulaski High School. He then served as a School to Work Transition Coordinator where he helped students develop job skills and find meaningful employment.
In his spare time he enjoyed music, golf, and the company of cherished friends.
Visitation will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday, January 14th from 5-6:30PM with a vigil to follow. A second Visitation will be held at St. Gregory the Great Church (3160 S. 63rd St.) on Friday, January 15th from 10-11AM with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Procession to Chapel Hill Cemetery immediately afterward.
