Passed away on Tuesday, May 10th , 2022, age 69 years. Loving husband of Constance “Connie” for 37 years. Proud father of Jennifer “Jenni” and Nicholas “Nick”(Lorin). Dear grandfather of Jace. Son of Jean Van Wagenen and the late Don. Brother of John(Kathy), Tom, and Lori. He will be greatly missed by his dog Brewer. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
A Memorial Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4PM at the Funeral Home, 4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield, WI. A Memorial Service will follow at 4PM.
Mike was an avid Brewer fan and spent much of his free time on the golf course. He worked for 38 years at Reilly, Penner, & Benton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association are appreciated.
Connie, Jenni, and Nick so sorry to learn of Mike’s passing. There was no more generous man on this earth then he. Please remember the joy he brought to so many others.

Our hearts are broken over the loss of our dear friend “Van”. We will mourn him for an appropriate time. But then we will celebrate his life that brought us so much joy. Your sweet Connie will continue to care for your family until y’all are reunited.

Mike was one of the sweet,kindest, thoughtful person that we had the great pleasure knowing and had so much fun with him. I always loved his big hugs. Thinking and praying for your wonderful family. We will sure miss him but we have to remember he is at rest now

Mike was a SuperHero to Judy & Me giving us great Financial Advice and embracing us as close friends. We’ll never ever forget the Karaoke gathering at our house and enjoying him singing “Red Solo Cup” when he entertained us all. Love you Mike and your inspiration to ALL of Us!!!
