Monica worked as a financial adviser in various companies in the Milwaukee area and was also an Avon salesperson for many years. She was a former Governess of the Midwest Soroptimist International and a current senior member of the Milwaukee chapter, a member of the Rotary Club of Milwaukee, a member of the Milwaukee Birthright organization, a member of St. Veronica Parish Choir, Christian Women, and many other charitable organizations. Monica also managed and operated the St. Veronica Bus trips we all got to know so well. A special thanks to the St. Luke’s Hospital staff and the hospice doctors, nurses, and other caregivers.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Salvation Army or St. Vincent De Paul Society in Monica’s memory.
To the family: Even though there is joy in the homegoing, there is sorrow in your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Monica will truly be missed; she was a bright ray of sunshine. Rest in heaven sweet lady…
Monica was such a lovely and welcoming Rotarian when I joined Milwaukee North Sunrise Rotary Club in 2016. I am praying for strength for the family and peace in knowing that Monica’s faithful commitment to her many memberships and endeavors have been counted as JOB WELL DONE, THY GOOD AND FAITHFUL SERVANT!🙏🏾
I found Monica to be a very warm and supportive Rotarian, and just a wonderful person. As she carried on, she was always very, very humble and gracious, and how she carried herself actually reminded me of a grandmother and just a sweet lady she will surely be missed.
I will miss my dear friend Monica. We spent many years traveling, attending our Soroptimist functions and eating out. Many good times, talking, laughing and planning. COVID and old age hit
at the same time for me and we didn’t see each other as much in recent years but I have such wonderful memories. I thank God for bringing her into my life, she was a loving friend and I will never forget her.
One of the Fab Four.
I got to know Monica from various activities at St Veronicas parish… I enjoyed at least two of her wonderful field trips She was always very colorful and entertaining. Most recently I worked with Monica on the 2022 Love One Another fundraising campaign at St. Veronicas and the Archdiocese. Again, Monica was always bright and entertaining and showed a great commitment to St. Veronicas in our efforts to raise funds. I will miss Monicas pleasant smile. I believe St. veronicas parish will miss her many contributions.
I met Monica when she lived in Dallas. She was my friend and mentor for many years. We worked together at Merrill Lynch and then at Hall Financial Group. I watched Monica navigate a difficult time in her life with grace and strength. I lost contact with Monica and just this morning resumed my search. I am saddened my search was too late but pleased to learn that she lived a long and fulfilling life. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Grace and peace to you all.
