(Nee Kowalski) Born November 2, 1928 to the late Bernard and Mary Kowalski (Nee Stopinski). Beloved Wife and best friend of the late Robert C. Brycki for 42 years, who she married on April 23, 1955. Loving Mother to Gail (Jeff) Santarius, Steven (Pamela) Brycki and Jean Brycki.
Preceded in death by her brothers, and their wives, Bernard (Alice), Robert (Bernadine), Gerald (Rose) and James Kowalski. Grandmother of 9, Great-Grandmother of 6, Special Sister-in-law to the late Eleanor and (Howard) Wickersheimer, the late George and (the late Rose) Brycki, the late Chester Brycki, the late Ralph and (the late Lorraine) Brycki, the late James (Patricia) Brycki, and Shirley (Paul) Citerony. A very “Special Thanks” to Jean, Robert, and Katelyn Brycki, who saw to it that all of her needs were taken care of on a daily basis. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. A special thanks to Juris Putnins for all of the help that he has given her over the years.
Monica belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary of the George Washington Bay View Post Unit 180 formally Unit 2. She was a Past President of the unit; she also held various positions with the Milwaukee County Conference of Units including Past President. Monica also held various positions with the American Legion Auxiliary District #4. Monica was also Past Senior Regent of the Milwaukee Women of the Moose Lodge Chapter 345. Retiree of Consolidated Freightways after 30 years of service, and a member of the Teamsters Local 200. She was also a Girl Scout Leader Troop 234, at St. Matthias, where she had a great time being a leader and lots of fun with the girls.
A very special thank you to the Heartland Home Hospice Nurses who helped Jean, Robert, and Katelyn Brycki to keep Monica comfortable.

I remember your mom and grandma as an amazing lady. She always had a smile on her face and a hug in her heart. I especially remember her being at school supporting Robert and Katelyn in everything they did. With sympathy.
