Peacefully entered into Eternal Life on Friday, March 30, 2001 at age 72yrs. Cherished and faithful husband of Janet L. Nee FlinkStirmel for over 50 years. Christian father and best friend of DavidLaureenStirmel, DiannePatRobertson, Mark Stirmel, MarleneNormanSowatzke, PaulKarenStirmel and TimothyBethStirmel. Loving grandfather of Jillian Zbleski, StaceyStevenKane, Susan Stirmel, Rachel and Katie Sowatzke, Michael and Alyssa Stirmel and Anna Stirmel. Proud great-grandfather of Kyle Kane. Son of the late Myron and Clara Stirmel. Son-in-law of the late Oscar and Adeline Flink. Brother of Loisthe late RobertFleming and MelvinJackieStirmel. Brother-in-law of RobertJeannineFlink. Nephew of HarveyEstherBollhagen and Dorothy Bollhagen. Fondly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Myron was a former West Milwaukee Fire Fighter and a former employee of American Garage Door. He enjoyed volunteering for his church, singing in the choir, bowling, sheepshead, fishing with his boys and curling up in front of a fireplace. We will miss his humor and jokes. The love for his family will live on in our hearts. Friends may visit from 4PM to 7PM on Monday, April 2, at Jordan Ev. Lutheran Church, 1642 S. 77th St. West Allis. Christian funeral celebration to follow at 7PM, Rev. Dale Baumler, officiating. Burial at Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Jordan Ev. Lutheran Church or Lutherans for Life appreciated. A special prayer of thanks to the staff of Wisconsin Lutheran Care Center and The Lutheran Home for their kind and compassionate care.
