Walz
Age 76 years, passed away on March 13, 2005.
She was born in Fish Creek, Wisconsin to Walter and Ella Sohns. She married Richard Walz in 1948. He preceded her in death in 1992. Befor being afflicted with Alzheimer’s, Myrtle spent her summers at her Clark Lake cottage and winters in Milwaukee. Myrtle had a remarkable green thumb and enjoyed gardening. She was talented with crafts of all kinds and the family will continue to enjoy her hand crafted Christmas ornaments for years to come. Myrtle also had a wonderful sense of humor and appeared in various costumes in many Door County parades.
She is survived by her children, Daniel Cindy Walz, Milwaukee and Debby Michael Brzinski, New Berlin: her grandchildren, Jason Walz, Christopher Brzinski and Kate Brzinski; her sisters and brother, Audrey Grasse, Ruby Shevey and Louis Betty Sohns as well as many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.
She is reunited with her parents; her husband; her step-father, George Weiterman; her father-in-law, Joseph Walz; mother-in-law, Mary Walz; two brothers-in-law, Michael Walz and Fred Grasse; one sister-in-law, Eileen Walz and her beloved kitties, Muffin and Pumpkin.

The family would like to thank the dedicated staff of River Hills Healthcare Center and Heartland Hospice for their loving care and kindness.
Complete funeral services Wednesday 5:00PM at the funeral home with visitation to follow until 7:00PM.
