 St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 36014 Sunset Drive (Hwys. 67 & 18), Dousman, Wisconsin

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. with the Service at 2:00 p.m.

“Nancy”

Nancy passed away peacefully on March 10, and is reunited with Vernon, her beloved husband of 44 years. Nancy was born on April 27, 1935, in West Allis to Robert & Melrose a/k/a Dorothy (Beduhn) Bernhardt. She attended Juneau High School and then put herself through classes to be a payroll clerk. She worked for many years and then became a full- time homemaker. She was a member of TOPS in West Allis for over 30 years.

Nancy loved her flower gardens and was always happy to show you her newest roses. She loved old-time country music and watching the birds and animals in her yard out the kitchen window. Time with family was most important to her.

She is the loving mother of: Terri (Chris) Harris, Douglas (Kathy Mitchell) Hohenfeldt, Tammi Woodward and her cherished daughter-in-law Beth Hohenfeldt. Adored grandmother of: Charlie Hintz, Zach Harris, Zoe Harris, Daniel Agne, Jennifer Benner, Joshua (Samantha) Robbins, Jesse (Kelly) Robbins, RaeAnna (Shawn) Austin, Leanna (Josh) Brant, Rebecca (Darrick Wimmer) Robbins, Jessica (Andrew) Jost, and Amanda (Tyler) Runde. Treasured great-grandmother of: Maggie, Christopher, Anna, Emily, Maiya, Remy, Athena, Chloe, Natalie, Kenny, Sawyer, Isaac, Avery, Finley, Kohen, Kamryn, Kayleigh, Eli, Karson, and Samuel, and precious great-great-grandmother of Elodie.

Also surviving are her beloved siblings Diane (Rodney) Brossard and Robert Bernhardt, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon and her son Daryl Hohenfeldt.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church, 36014 Sunset Drive (Hwys. 67 & 18), Dousman, Wisconsin.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. with the Service at 2:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elmbrook Humane Society or a charity of your choice, if desired.

    It has been many years since we have seen her. She was such a kind, loving person. We Pray that she was in no pain and is living in her Heavenly Home with all the family she loved and served so much. God Be With YOU NANCY, Love, jer and Louise Sheahan
