Nathan Joshua
Rudnitzki
Nathan J. Rudnitzki
Nathan was born in Chicago, IL to parents Jesse Rudnitzki and Melanie Kennedy on June 29, 1999. He had an accidental fall while riding an electric skateboard on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 and the search for organ donation recipients began Thursday, September 22, 2022. Nathan’s family is proud to say that his generous decision to be an organ donor gave four people the chance to live an improved and extended life.
Nathan attended elementary, middle, and high school in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Throughout childhood Nathan’s favorite activities were playing video games and riding skateboards. Nathan also explored a wide variety of interests including Legos, DIY building projects, magic tricks, origami, and science experiments. He sang in school choir and enjoyed playing guitar.
Nathan was talented in electronics repair, which earned him the respect of his coworkers at Batteries+. Nathan’s friends and coworkers enjoyed his companionship, kindness, and great sense of humor. Due to his unique red hair and tall stature, Nathan’s friends and family gave him many affectionate nicknames such as Big Red and Gentle Giant. Being the only boy with three sisters, Nathan’s parents sweetly called him “my boy” or “the boy.”
Nathan was loved by a large surviving family: his mother, father, and step-mother; older sister Kayla, younger sister Erica, and little sister Baylee; grandparents Jeannette Kennedy and David & Nancy Rudnitzki; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. All are deeply saddened by his loss.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 beginning at 12pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (16880 W. National Ave, New Berlin) with a casual sharing of stories to start at 2pm.
Dear Jesse and family, we are so very sorry for your loss. We know you all are heartbroken. We pray that Jehovah will continue to comfort and support you all until he reunites all our families in the paradise very soon to come.
We love you Rick&Sara Bobzien ❤️❤️
So many years at my complex! Such a polite and cordial kid! So sad he’s gone. My condolences to the whole family for the loss of a truly decent human being!
Just wanted to leave a comment for you Melanie to say that I’m thinking about and praying for you for peace and rest for your family during this time. Sending love!
Nathan was truly a gentle giant.. I will always have fun memories of him coming over and eating homemade chocolate chip cookies and homemade cinnamon rolls , playing nerf guns guns in the backyard with the boys. And video games until midnight, when i was woken up and had to go downstairs and tell them they needed to shut them off and go to bed..We are so sorry for your loss and know that it is truly felt by us all.
I will forever miss my friend
Nathan was a truly wonderful young man. I remember him playing in the backyard with Max building snow forts and enjoying the occasional snow ball fight! We were blessed to have known him all these years. May God watch over all of you and may his healing hands be gentle. Love always, Chris, Karen, Chelsea and Max Spatola.
I knew Nate for only a few years. But he was a joy in my life and will be missed by so many. Rest well, buddy.
