Olson, Nicholas “Nick”,
Born to Eternal Life on Thursday March 27th, 2014, age 19. Beloved son of Steve and Mary (nee Schreiner). Loving brother of Grace. Dear grandson of Bill (Dolores) Schreiner and Eugene (Alice) Olson. Preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Dorothy and paternal grandmother Evelynn. Cherished nephew of Sandy (Glen) Johnston, Renee Olson, Terry Olson, and Patrick Olson. Cousin of Jesse, Ashley Johnston, Jason, Christopher, Angela Olson and Patrick Olson Jr. Also survived by other relatives and many friends. He will be missed by his furry friend Nemo.
Visitation Tuesday, April 1st at the funeral home from 4-7PM with a prayer vigil at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday, April 2nd at ST. ALPHONSUS CATHOLIC CHURCH at 10AM, 6060 W. Loomis Rd. Please meet at church. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.
Nick had a love and talent for music. He played both the guitar and keyboard, and loved to attend concerts and live music performances. Green Day was one of his favorite bands and you would often find Nick strumming one of their songs on his guitar. He cared deeply for his friends and would drop everything to help out in any way he could. Nick had a big heart and wasn’t afraid to share it.
