Nicole Suzanne Flynn

Nicole Suzanne Flynn (nee Anderson) gracefully entered eternal life on December 14th, 2023, surrounded by the love of her family. Born on November 7th, 1968, she was raised with the love of her parents, Patricia & James Walker, and the late Leroy Anderson.

Known affectionately as “Nikki or Nik,” Nicole’s love story began in 1986 when she crossed paths with the love of her life, Ron Flynn, at their shared workplace. Celebrating thirty-four years of marriage, their journey was defined by a steadfast foundation of support and unwavering devotion, as they lovingly raised two children: Daughter Addison, son Jason (Amanda), and granddaughter Evelynn.

Nikki exemplified strength, kindness and a generous heart. Her resilience was evident as she fought tirelessly against incredible odds for nearly eight years, driven by her immense love for her daughter (Addison) and desire to witness and be present for her for as many years as possible.

Even in the midst of her own battle, she consistently checked on and offered help to those around her. Her positive outlook and deep understanding of living life to the fullest were an inspiration to all who knew her.  Nikki possessed an innate ability to finding meaningful and thoughtful gestures that made others feel genuinely special and loved. Her selflessness and compassion created a lasting impact on the lives she touched.

Nikki leaves behind a legacy of sisterhood, imparting endless wisdom to her three sisters Rebecca Nagel (Walker) Jennifer Elser (Walker) Sarah Schramm (Walker) serving as the cornerstone of their bond throughout the years. Fondly known as “Auntie Nikki,” she leaves behind eighteen nieces and nephews who loved and adored her dearly. Hosting girls’ slumber parties for the nieces to football games and bounce houses in the backyard, she created cherished memories.

Nicole’s spirit was ignited by a profound passion for travel with a particularly cherished affinity for the beach. Whether swimming with dolphins, visiting the sea turtle hospital or simply gazing out at the water, these moments held a special place in her heart. Beyond the destinations, her true delight lay in the connections forged and the stories gathered along her journeys.

Her heart overflowed with love for all creatures, from feeding the birds to watching backyard wildlife, and even extending compassion to the occasional house-invading critter that she would so graciously release back into nature. A special place in her heart however, was always reserved for her canine companions, including her dear Sophie, whom she leaves behind. Nikki possessed a magical touch with plants and flowers, seemingly coaxing life from them with her very presence.

Nikki’s enthusiasm extended to every holiday, where her meticulous decorations transformed each occasion into a festive celebration. Her Christmas cookie creations became an eagerly anticipated tradition of waiting for the giant cookie platter to arrive, spreading joy to all who were fortunate enough to enjoy them. Cooking and baking weren’t just a skill for Nikki; it was a heartfelt expression of love to bring her family together.

Sweet Nicole, your memory and spirit live on forever in the hearts of all those you touched. You have left your legacy in your beautiful daughter (Addison). Rest peacefully knowing that you are always remembered and deeply missed.

To honor the extraordinary life of Nicole Suzanne Flynn, a visitation will be held on January 6th, 2024, from 9 am to 11:15 am, followed by Mass at 11:30 am at Holy Apostle’s Catholic Church located at 16000 W National Ave, New Berlin, WI 53151. My Dear friend, we had a hell of a run. From snorkeling with Barracudas and clown fish, watching fireworks on the duck boat, swimming with dolphins and stingrays ,haunted cemetery’ tours, packer parties, cruises and camping trips. We shopped for shoes and went for pedicures. So many concerts and movies. I know you needed your time at the end but life will never be the same knowing we will never have our little chats. We were strong and made a relationship in a situation most people think was crazy and impossible. We were best friends for over 25 years. I will miss you dearly my friend. Rest easy, until we me again.
