Nilda Mercedes Class de Melendez (90) passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2022. She was born October 26, 1932 in san Juan, Puerto Rico. Her husband, Hector Luis Melendez, 64 years preceded her in death in the year 2020. Mother of six children; Vivian (Jeff) Whitney, Yvonne Witczak, Hector Melendez, Vilma (the late William) Bivens, Yvette Ramos, and Victor (Marisol) Melendez. Grandmother to Vanessa, James, Maria, Alissa, Jeffery, Cassandra, Thomas, Ariana, Robert, Yvette, Luis Eddie, and Solimar. Great grandmother of Jayden, Julian, Claire, and Lily. Survived by her sisters Ruth and Iris, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Nilda was a loving mother, outgoing and always making new friends. She will be missed. Thank you to all the staff at Adelaide Place in Fond du Lac for the love and care you provided for our mom. Also, to preceptor for all your support during our mom’s final days.

Visitation to be held on Friday, November 18^th 2022 at the FUNERAL HOME from 10-11am with a Funeral Service at 11am.  In lieu of flowers or cards, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.
