Zehnpfennig OSF, Sister Noreen

Born to Eternal Life November 15, 2018, age 97. She was born in Parkston, SD to Herb and Nettie Zehnpfennig and is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Louis (Dorothy) Zehnpfennig, and her sister Shirley (George) Suffield. Survived by the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi, with whom she shared life for 78 years; and nieces and nephews: Carole (Jack) Morgan, Lenexa, KS, Kath Walsh, Sun City, AZ; Charles (Carla) Zehnpfennig, Rochester, MN; Jan (Dan) Wudel, Sioux Falls, SD; Ann (David) Zerfas, Madison, SD; and Kassia (Timothy) Kisting, New Berlin, WI, 9 grand nieces and nephews, and 3 great-grand nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to join the Congregation on Tuesday, November 20th , at St. Francis Convent, 3221 S. Lake Dr., Saint Francis WI 53235, for Welcoming of the Body and Morning Prayer at 9 AM, followed by Visitation. A Time of Remembering will be held at 10:10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Sisters of St. Francis of Assisi Memorial Fund would be appreciated.

Sister Noreen taught at St. Mary’s Academy for 17 years and at Cardinal Stritch University for 27 years.
