Passed away peacefully at home on December 1st, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Norman joined his baby daughter Patty, twin brother Gene and parents Ray and Gertrude (nee Tischendorf) Bartel in Eternal Life. Beloved husband of Bernice (nee Rockley). Father of David (Susan), Diane (Charles) Zwicke, Daniel (Suzanne), and Barbara (Harold) Schneider. Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, his sister Doris (the late Robert) Koehler, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Wednesday at the FUNERAL HOME from 4-7 PM with a service to follow at 7 PM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery. Norm was the owner of Normal Bartel Excavating in Oak Creek, Wi retiring after more than 52 years of business. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association or your charity of choice.
