Oscar
Canavan
Canavan, Oscar Cuniberti “Oscarman”
Called suddenly in his sleep to God’s loving arms on Arp. 6, 2008. Oscar lived an adventurous, awesome, happy 17 years of life, destined to go home to heaven before his emotional illness would have progressed to make adult life a painful struggle. Oscar was unique. To know him was to love him. Oscar is survived by the luckiest parents in the world, Betty Cuniberti of Webster Groves, MO, and Francis Canavan of Milwaukee, as well as his adoring stepmother, Tricia Bork-Canavan of Milwaukee. Perhaps most importantly, Oscar is also survived by the big sister who was the joy of his life, Angela Cuniberti Canavan. Oscar is greatly missed by his grandparents, Henry and Vivian Cuniberti of San Francisco and his loving aunts and uncles: Sue and Bill Rittenhouse of Walnut Creek, CA, Dorothy Bowen and Rita Ellen Mast of Charleston, SC, Michael and Kate Canavan of Botswana, Africa and Joe and Lisa Canavan of Atlanta. Services will be held in St. Louis on Sat. April 12. Memorials to the Oscar Canavan Bipolar Research Fund, c/o Royal Bank, 8021 Olive Blvd., St. Louis, MO 63130 appreciated.
