Patricia Ann Dybro (nee Czerwinski) aged 90, long-time resident of New Berlin, Wisconsin passed peacefully on December 2, 2024. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Patricia was born on September 12, 1934, in Milwaukee, where she lived until she married Charles Dybro in 1959. Pat and Chuck were married for 59 years until his passing in 2019. She graduated from Mercy High School and later was certified from WCTC as a ward clerk/unit secretary and then completed medical transcription training. Her employment began at Wisconsin Electric. During the 1970s she worked at Leland School in Elm Grove preparing lunch for students, followed by working as a hospital ward clerk at West Allis Memorial Hospital and Elmbrook Memorial Hospital. She joined the Medical College of Wisconsin as the administrative assistant to the director of orthopedic surgery, transitioning to medical transcription in the last several years of her career, retiring at age 70. Throughout her career, she was known for diligence, dedication, and attention to detail.

Patricia enjoyed caring for her family, preparing meals to celebrate special occasions, and attending her children’s and grandchildren’s events. Though camping was not her favorite family activity, in support of the family’s enjoyment Pat made it her mission to ensure every extra hooded sweatshirt, hat and set of gloves could be found in a cubby onboard the Winnebago. Pat enjoyed sewing clothes, Halloween costumes, GiJoe and Barbie outfits, plus fitted many blue jeans with extra knee pads. Mom loved playing the piano from grade school through age 89.

I will always remember Pat sending the best care packages and sewing amazing clothes for her college-attending children. She was sweet and funny, and never failed to make us laugh with her humorous commentary. Now, God is the benefactor of her piano playing and smiles.
