Patricia M. Benitez (nee Huhn)
Passed away peacefully on Monday, August 12, 2024, at age 89 and joined her husband, Esmal “Jesse”. Loving mother to Philip (Debbie) Benitez, Christina Lopez, Steve Benitez, Randy (Phyllis) Benitez, Lonnie (John) Dolby, and Jesse (Mannicahn) Benitez. Beloved grandma to 18 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. Dear best friend to Linda Gless. Sister to Edwin (Duke) Huhn and Miles Huhn. Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Preceded in death by her husband and her brothers, Bruce Huhn and Sheldon Huhn.
Patsy and Jesse were married on September 15, 1950, and spent 53 loving years together. Family was very important to Pat; she loved spending time with her children and all her grandchildren.
Visitation will take place on Monday, August 19, 2024, from 10 am – 12 pm with a funeral service at 12 pm at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (4800 S. 84th St. Greenfield). Private entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Roman’s Parish are appreciated.
Family extends a special thanks to Villa of St. Francis and St. Croix hospice for their comforting care for Pat.
Childhood memories came flooding back when I was told of Pat’s passing. First of all, my deepest condolences to your family. I knew her as “Aunt Pat” in my childhood. I have happy memories of celebrations and relationships with the Benitez family. May God bless each of you and bring peace during this sad time.
