Escorted to Heaven by all the angels she loved on Nov. 5, 2015. Survived by her loving sister Bette Jane “Bee” Sweeney(Nee Fuerst), sister-in-law Georgine Fuerst and Heidi, her bird. Also survived by nieces and nephews, Dr. Michael F. Sweeney, Maureen Andrews, Erin Meyer, James Fuerst, John Fuerst, Linda Kiedrowski, Gayle Fuerst, Beverly Chartier, Robert Fuerst, and Debbi Robert, many grand nieces and nephews and a magnitude of friends. Preceded in death by grandparents Joseph and Frances Fuerst and Daniel and Augusta Crowley, Father Joseph C. Fuerst and Mother Lillian L. Fuerst(Nee Crowley), special brother-in-law James Sweeney, and brothers Robert and Russell Fuerst. Pat loved animals, games of all types, and dancing. She had a special rapport with her animals through the years and will be missed by Heidi, her bird. Her capacity for unconditional love knew no bounds for people and animal friends. A special appreciation to the medical staff at St. Luke’s ICU for their compassionate care of her. A very special thanks to Judy and Mary, her angels here on earth, for all the assistance they afforded her while a resident at South Gate Square.
