KEEKU, PETER F.
Town of Raymond. Mr. Peter F. Keeku passed away at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Surrounded by his loving family he was taken to his eternal home on Friday June 22, 2001 at the age of 68 years.
He was born in Milwaukee to Michael & Ella nee Bauer Keeku. He has been married to Lois nee Fohr for 48 years.
Peter served in the Army in Germany from 1953-1955. He was a Machinist at AMC/Daimler Chrysler for the past 42 years. He was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church in Union Grove, a former Cub Master for the Boy Scouts of America, a 4-H leader, avid farmer, hunter and fisherman. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially Fathers Day weekend and will be missed by many.
Peter is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Lois nee Fohr Keeku. His children, Peter E., Paul Kelly, June Robin Holler, Phillip Deb, Earl Debbie, Lisa, Guy Sandy, Michael Jean and Karl Jaimie. 26 grandchildren, Jenni SteveLockrem, Michelle Ricardo Araujo, Peter Jr., Molly, Katie, Paul Jr., Sara, Scott, Charlie, Phillip, Jared, Levi, Cindy, April, Erin, Heather, Amanda, Stacy, Krystle, Laura, Samantha, Guy, Catherine, Stephanie, Rebecca, Maggie; two great-grandchildren, Kristiana and Brennin; brother-in-law of Lila Gordon Voss, Roy Celeste Fohr, and Helen Keeker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Ella nee Bauer Keeku; brothers and sisters, Michael, Henry, Richard, Mildred, Elsie, Viola, Evelyn, Ethel, Vivian, Paul his twin, and two infant brothers; and his mother and father-in-law, Earl and Loretta nee Scherkenbach Fohr. Funeral services will be held at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2908 Colony Avenue, Union Grove, on Tuesday, June 26, 2001, at 11 a.m. with Pastor David Peters officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park. Visitation will be at the Heritage Funeral Home on Monday from 4 until 8 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10 until 10:45 a.m. Memorials can be made to Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Union Grove.
