I am saddened to hear of Mr. Buckland’s passing. He was always so warm and friendly to the neighborhood kids. I remember he taught us the story of “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” when we thought having a screaming contest was a good idea, and he let me drive his motorcycle down the alley once. Once for a good reason when I didn’t know about the kickstand! Such a kind soul.
