Nee Funderburg Found peace June 14, 2009, age 69 years. Beloved wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Jo Anne Michael Nagel and Georgianne Donald Weigend. Dear grandmother of Kenneth and Kelsey Weigend. Fond sister of Russell Judy Funderburg. Also survived by nieces, 1 nephew, other relatives and friends. Visitation Thursday, 4-7 PM at the Funeral Home, with Funeral Service at 7 PM. Private interment.

Christine volunteered as a telephone contact for the Sjogrens Syndrome Foundation, speaking to others diagnosed with the disease, which she battled for a long time. She found it helpful to try and support others where ever she could.

On behalf of our entire family, we want to thank all of our friends, extended family and co-workers for their love, support and prayers. We must also acknowledge the outstanding Nursing Staff at St. Luke’s Medical Center-12th floor Oncology, as well as Dr. McGartland, whom she respected and trusted.
