Rachel D. Drewek passed away May 1st 2021 at the age of 33.
Beloved and cherished daughter of Mimma DiCarlo and daughter of his heart “Papa Bear”
Rick Peterson. Daughter of Joseph Drewek.
Loving companion to her devoted Davor Ilic who never left her side through her battle with cancer.
Devoted and so loved sister to her brother Marcus Drewek. The best aunt a child could have to Madeline Drewek. The most loving cousin to Josiphine, Frank, Paul and Anthony Visconti. A cherished niece to Anna Visconti and Linda Drewek (Dave Viduski).
She will be forever remembered and honored by a multitude of personal and family friends.
Rachel’s family would like to give our heartfelt gratitude to the Ilic family for their loving care and devotion to her during her battle. You have our deep love for what was provided to her.
We have lost her shining physical presence, but we have gained an everlasting angel in Heaven to watch over us. She left us way too soon and with broken hearts that can only mend slowly with time. Her memory will never leave us. Rachel battled like a warrior against cervical cancer, to be given rest by our Lord. We know she is now safe, sound, healed and whole. Rachel, we will be the ones late to the party, but we will all see you again. You promised…
Memorials appreciated to the family.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 6th at HERITAGE FUNERAL HOME (4800 S 84th St, Greenfield) from 4pm-6:30pm. A second visitation takes place the following day, Friday, May 7th from 11am-12pm at ST WILLIAM CATHOLIC CHURCH (440 N Moreland Blvd, Waukesha) with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12pm.

Rachel was a great friend that always put a smile on my face when I was around her. You will be missed by so many people. We love you.
A bright, joyful, shining presence who brought light, laughter. and love wherever she went.
World isn’t as bright with out her.
always new how to get me to laugh no matter how grumpy I was.
Lost touch over the years.
I WILL TRUELY MISS U Rachel
Words are not enough to describe you love.
I don’t think I ever seen you without a huge smile and going out of your way to make everyone around you laugh. I’m heartbroken, and I still can’t believe it. You have left a deep smile on my heart. I will never be able to look at a Captain Morgan bottle the same again. Thank you for all the dice games. And catching me off guard with all your crazy comments that would make me laugh for days afterwards. When it’s my turn please have a dice cup waiting for me.
My sincere condolences. I only knew Rachel as “baby Rachel.” Her spirit will always be forever young within me.
I had the pleasure of working with Rachel for 4 months. What a bright, fun and amazing woman! She was excited for everything and I always admired her for that. Her laugh and smile were always contagious. Though I only had the pleasure of working with her for a short time, I was numb to hear this news. To Rachel’s family- I am so, so sorry for your loss. Rachel will live on in our memories forever.
Rachel was a wonderful person I only knew her for a short time along with her sweetheart. She will alway be in my heary.
