Joined his Savior in heaven, Wednesday, September 14, 2011, age 82 years. Loving husband of Gloria Schumacher nee Gentz. Devoted father of Peter Debra Schumacher of Plano, TX, Paula Stuart Zak and Ann Dennis Wieselmann. Beloved grandfather of Daniel Schumacher, Rev. Ben Janna, Joel Michelle, Daniel Carrie and Laura Zak, Mark Meghan, Elizabeth and Thomas Wieselmann. Great grandfather of Willow, Clyde, Lydia and Julia. Brother of Ralph Lydia Schumacher and Glen Eileen Schumacher. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation Sunday, September 18, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at CALVARY EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 247 S. Main St., Thiensville, followed by the Funeral Service at 3:00 PM. Rev. Don Scheuerlein, officiating. Private interment Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI.
Rae proudly served his country as a Captain in the United States Marine Corp., and served his Lord at his church and various Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod organizations.
