Welniak, Ralph M.,
Born Raphael M. Welniak on September 21, 1910 in Milwaukee to Edward and Ella nee Potrzebowski Welniak, and died in International Falls, MN on Thursday, March 29th, 2007. In his early years Ralph was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corp and later worked at Jacobson Millwork, John Singer Inc. and Milwaukee Machine Products as a machinist. He retired from Milwaukee Machine Products.
Ralph married Bernice Andrews of Milwaukee in 1945. After Bernice?s death in 1985, Ralph enjoyed his time in Rosholt, WI at their second home. In 1994 Ralph moved to Canada and later in 2000 he moved to International Falls, MN.
Ralph is survived by his son Kevin Welniak and daughter-in-law Karen Welniak, and grandson Michael Clayton ?Stosh? Welniak. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Ella, his wife Bernice, his sister Evelyn and brother Eugene . brother-in-law William Wolski and sister-in-law Deloris Welniak. Services for Ralph will be held at the Funeral Home at 4 PM, with visitation from 2 PM until the time of service. Private internment Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
