Ralph R. Dunlap Jr.
of East Toy, Wi died at St. Luke’s Medical Center on August 7, 2001 at age 74 years. Born on April 15, 1927 in Chicago, IL to parents Ralph Dunlap and Lillian Dunlap nee Lorenzen. Ralph attended Peterson Country School and he is a graduate of Tomah High School. On December 1, 1979 Ralph married his bride Maureen Dunlap nee Fletcher at Our Savior Church in Burbank, IL. They made their home in Elk Grove for 5 years and then moving to El Paso, Texas while Ralph worked in Chihuahua, Mexico for 7 years. Ralph and Maureen have made their home in East Troy for the past 7 years upon Ralph’s retirement. Ralph worked for Zenith Electronics as a manager for the past 25 years. He was a member of the VFW and Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. Ralph is a veteran from the Navy and he served as a petty officer in World War II and the Korean Conflict.
Ralph is survived by his wife Maureen nee Fletcher of East Troy. Sons: Robeyfiancee Fran Sherrill of Los Angeles, CA and Jeff Dunlap of Milwaukee, Wi. Stepchildren: KevinDeanna Hancock of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia and Julie Hancock of East Troy, Wi. Grandchildren: Chris and Lisa Dunlap of Los Angeles,California, Leah Hancock of Berkeley Springs, West Virginia. Great-Grandchildren Alexis and Desiree Dunlap of Los Angeles,California. Sister Nancy James Kenney of Mukwonogo, Wi and Sister-In-Law Grace Dunlap of Halstead, Virginia. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, many friends and loved ones. Ralph is preceded in death by his parents and brother James Dunlap.
Funeral Services were held on August 9, 2001 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Pastor Philip Vangen officiating.
Memorials to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Clinic appreciated.
