Born to Eternal Life on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at the age of 86 years. Beloved husband of the late Marlyn nee Johnson. Dear father of Gayle Peters, Michael Stephanie Reiss, Mark Lisa Reiss and Carrie Makowski. Loving grandfather and great grandfather. Brother-in-law of Lynn Kathleen Johnson, Lucille Reiss and Robert Ries. Also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends.

Visitation Friday, October 5 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Funeral Home, followed by the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Rev. Keith Johnson, Officiating. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery.

Ray graduated from Wisconsin Institute of Mortuary Science in 1951, initially working with his father-in-law Gillette Johnson. Later, he and his brother-in-law Lynn Johnson operated Gillette Johnson and Sons Funeral Home. He was eventually joined in the business by his son Mark Reiss and nephew Tim Johnson continuing until his retirement.
