Passed away peacefully on Friday, May 15, 2015 age 97 years. Preceded in death by his beloved wife, Agatha (nee Polcyn) on February 8, 1967. Loving father of Ann M., Barb (Don Horack) and Mary (Harry) Sharata. Proud grandpa Ray of Emily and Madeline Sharata. Loving companion of Violet Szuta. Dear brother of Bernadine Tylenda having been preceded in death by brothers; Edward, Harry and John and sisters; Irene Olejniczak, Clara Strand, Angeline SanFelippo, Phyllis Pryzbylinski and Dorothy Gardner. Brother-in-law of Claudia Polcyn. Further surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation Wednesday, May 20 at ST. VERONICA’S CHURCH, 4001 South Whitnall Avenue from 4-5 PM . Mass of Christian Burial at 5 PM. Dinner to follow. Private interment St. Adalbert Cemetery.

Ray was a retired employee of Wisconsin Gas Company. Proudly serving in the US Army during WWII he received the bronze star while in the infantry during the Battle of the Bulge.
