Schiro, Raymond M.
Of New Berlin. Died Thursday, Feb 1, 2007 after a long battle with cancer, age 78. Beloved husband of Lois Nee Brittell. Loving father of Cynthia Ann Daniel Nacker and Karen Marie Brian Sandblom. Devoted grandfather of Angela Matthew Krueger, Laura Sandblom, Breanna Sandblom, Samantha Nacker, and Anna Nacker. Great Grandfather of Logan Krueger. Brother of Arlene Daniel Hanrahan. Preceded in death by his parents George and Agnes, and other family members. Survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and many friends.
Ray was employed as a design engineer at Rexnord Corporation in the Construction Machinery Department for 44 years. He also served in the US Army, 45th Infantry Division in Korea, 1951-1952, including ?Old Baldy?.
We are very grateful to Dr Federico Sanchez and the oncology staff of Waukesha Memorial Hospital for their excellent care.
Ray will be cremated. Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb 8, 2007 at the Funeral Home from 3-6 PM, with a Memorial Service at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, a donation to your favorite charity would be appreciated.
