Born to Eternal Life November 21, 2017, at the age of 81. Dear husband of the late Patricia Ann (nee Frey). Loving father of Carol Merkovich (Melissa, Michelle, and Andrew), Wendy Hetzel (Jeannie, Justin, and Callie), Sandy (David) Ehlers (Cindi, Diana, and Jacob), Craig (Bobbi) Sagan (Kaela), R. Brad (Sara) Sagan (Shaun, Kyle, Abby, and Ella). Great-grandfather of Alyla, Marilyn, Loretta, Benjamin, and Rosalie. Son of the late George Sagan and the late Josephine (nee Kubacki). Born into a family of 15 children, the late William, the late George, Frank, the late Joseph, Dorothy, Leo, John, Alice, Casmir, William, Anthony, Jerry, the late Virginia, and Mary. Also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

Ray was a retiree of the Oak Creek Water Department, a member of the Oak Creek Lions Club, and a longtime chef of the St. Matthew’s Fish Boil. Special thanks to Jim and Jean Sagan and the caring staff at Elizabeth Residence.

Visitation will be held on Monday, from 9 AM – 10:45 AM, at St. Matthew’s Church (9303 S. Chicago Rd.). Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM.
