Passed away at home after a long struggle with chronic illness Tuesday, April 23, 2013, age 82 years. Beloved husband of Marie(Nee Binash). Loving father of Judy(Bill)Semrad, Mark(Lisa), John, Chris(Rick Green), Janice, Susan, Paul, Bob(Amy), and Phil(Becky). Proud grandfather of Sam, Pete, Ted, Marisa(Jordan), Brian, Andrew, Zachary, Samantha, Katie, Rose, Malea, Daniel, Craig, Angie, Nicole, Amanda, Nate, and Brianna. Great grandfather of Liam and Braden. Dear brother of Shirley, Joanne(Adolph), Sharon(Chuck), Bill(Katherine), and Jim(Sue). Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his sisters Carol and Pat.

Visitation Friday, April 26 at DIVINE PEACE EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 3203 S. 76th St., from 4-6:45PM with a Funeral Service at 7PM. Interment and Military Honors Saturday 11AM at Forest Home Cemetery.

Rick served his country as a Marine during the Korean Conflict. He worked for GE Medical Systems where he developed many patents. He was an active member of Divine Peace throughout his life. Special thanks to Sue and the staff of Vitas Hospice for their loving care.
