Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, February 4th, 2015, age 78. Loving husband and best friend of Joyce (nee Hansen). Loving dad of Amy (Jim) Schram, Julie (Steve) Kimpel, and Becky Sheahan. Grandpa of Megan, Ben, Courtney, Katrina, Kayla, Cody, T.J., Ashley, Vanessa, and Gabe. Son of the late Jack and Marcella Rader. Brother of the late Joanne. Son-in-law of the late Charles and Grace Hansen. Brother-in-law of Jim (the late Helen) and (Dot), and Richard (Barbara) Hansen. Also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation at the FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, February 7th from 12:30-2:30PM, followed by funeral service at 2:30PM.
Dick retired from the Milwaukee and Airport Post Offices, and proudly served in the US Army from 1960-62, stationed in Turkey. He loved reading, music, traveling, cards, and the outdoors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials will be divided among the VA, Cancer and Neurology Research Centers, and St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Howell Ave, Oak Creek.
