Wednesday, July 5, 2006, age 83 years. Husband of Lorraine K. Raabe nee Schnell. Father of Rev. Richard G. Jr. Peg, Daryl Nancy, Steve Karen, Kent Chris, Beth Paul Steinbrenner and Kathleen Rev. Mark Lindloff. Grandfather of Rachel David Leverence, Sarah Peter Bloedel, Karl Brigitte, Nathan Richelle, Christopher Kelly, Kyle Tammy, Andrea, Clint, Erin Robert Krug, Megan Barry Oertel, Kathryn, Audra Trevor Jacobs, Joshua and Joel Raabe, Marie, Katie, Emilie, Benjamin, Peter, Mark, Noah Steinbrenner, Jacob, Andrew, Joseph, Aaron and Jesse Lindloff. Son of the late George Raabe and the late Meta nee Scholz Raabe. Brother of Charles, Thomas, William and George Raabe and Grace Wesley Forbes. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Service Saturday, July 8 at 10AM at ST. JOHN’S EV. LUTHERAN CHURCH, 7809 Harwood Ave. Interment with military honors at Pinelawn Cemetery. Visitation Friday at the church from 5-8PM and Saturday from 8:30-9:45AM prior to the Service. Mr. Raabe was a member of St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church, Wauwatosa. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. John’s “Rooted and Growing”, Wisconsin Lutheran High School, Wisconsin Lutheran College, Civilian Chaplaincy-O.W.L.S. or Time of Grace Ministry appreciated.
