Richard M. Fons age 85 years
of East Troy, died at Kiwanis Manor on Friday May 25, 2001. Born April 29, 1916 to parents August Fons and Maime Martyski in West Allis, Wi. Richard attended Boy’s Tech School in Milwaukee, Wi. On September 7, 1940 Richard married his wife Helen nee Skedzielewskiin St. Gerard’s Church in Milwaukee, Wi and lived in the East Troy area for the past 48 years. Richard was a sales engineer at Biersach – Niedermeyer for many years.
Richard is survived by his wife Helen and Son’s and Daughter’s KathleenJohnJansen of East Troy, Peter of Fall City, WA, MichaelRoxanne of Woodbury, MN and ChristinaDavid Vance of Milton, WI. Richard is also survived by grandchildren Mary, Michael, Eileen, Jocelyn, Jennifer, Rich, and Theresa. Great-grandchildren Jacob, George, Emily, Nick, Ethan, Molly, Lillian, and Jacquelyn. Richard is also survived by 1 sister and 3 brothers RuthEdward Kuczynski, AugustNila, RussellBeverly, KennethShirley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents and 1 sister DoloresEdwin Kuczynski.
Richard grew prize winning orchids and loved wood carving.
Visitation will be Wednesday May 30, 2001 from 10:30 to the time of services at St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Memorial Service will be at 11:30 with Father Luis Luljak officiating.
